         The Kuppam Educational Society found in the year 2000, with the sole objective of providing high-standard educational facilities to the rural folks. The management of the society is committed to make the engineering college an ideal place for learning in engineering and technology fields. The college was inaugurated by technology savvy Sri N Chandra babu Naidu garu on 11-09-2001.

Library

	The Central Library of the college is well furnished and well equipped. It caters to academic needs of the faculty and the student community. It ensures support and aids with books and materials for teaching, research and extension programs. It ensures the faculty and students with latest books, journals and the materials. All the faculty and the students have membership.
The library contains 18,000 volumes of books in various branches of knowledge. It receives 115 national and international journals periodicals. It also subscribes to e-journals under INDEST-AICET consortium, New Delhi.

LIBRARY COMPUTERIZATION The Library uses Easy Library Software package which is an integrated multi-user Library management system that supports all in-house operations of the library. The easy Library consists of modules on Acquisition, Circulation, Serials, Article indexing and OPAC Retrospective Conversion of bibliographic records. More then 18000 bibliographic records of books are available in the library. They can now be accessed through the Easy Lib OPAC. The Data base of books available in the library is being updated on day-to-day basis with details of recently acquired. Records of all library patrons have also been created in the Easy Lib. Package to strengthen on circulation counters for accuracy and speeding up of operations Barcode Technology is adopted. DIGITAL LIBRARY The Digital Library has 20 computers. They are connected to LAN and allow browsing the internet for academic purpose. The library has ASME, IEL, and ASCE online subscription and membership in development Library Network (DELNET) through which one can have access to specialized bibliographic data-base of books, serials and non-book materials. The Digital Library also has 1509 general educational CDs. RAMANUJAM SEMINAR HALL The College has beautiful and well furnished air-conditioned seminar hall for hosting guest lectures by experts. The college has also proposals to conduct State & National level seminars by providing exposure and interaction for students by inviting experts in various fields. The student technocrats bring with them the colorful facets of their culture. In our well - designed seminar hall our students organize a number of cultural extravaganzas. Plans are afoot to make Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium K.E.C has a well planned and duly constructed auditorium with all facilities and comforts. All important functions are held in this auditorium. College Mess: The college mess is situated in a beautiful natural setting. It’s a nice place to have a break and ease tension. Our canteen items of food provided are a blend of South-Indian dainties and Punjabi Dhaba. Items of food are provided at reasonable rates. Quality and quantity are assured at the same time. The mess remains open at all working days. A Committee consisting of the staff, students and trustees oversees its service and its upkeep. Security: To protect the assets of the management and to ensure safety to the students security guards are appointed. Recreation: The hostellers are well provided with recreations, there are Televisions, Board games, News papers and Journals to refresh their minds. There are facilities to play indoor games such as board games, caroms, chess etc., The college has spacious cricket and football grounds for the students. Besides these, there are volleyball and shuttle cock courts. Hostellers are allowed to go out once in a month for shopping and watching movies. Exclusive Computer Centre:- There is one separate computer block with internet facilities meant for the students to enrich their knowledge. They have access to the facility after the college hours. College Canteen: - Apart from the college mess, there is also a Canteen to provide meals and refreshments to the day scholars. Items of food are given at reasonable rates. Internet and wireless networking: K.E.C has 4 MBPS Internet Bandwidth from Railtel Leased line. It provides the staff and the students with internet facilities. WI-FI networking facility is also provided within the campus to connect mobile users. Language Laboratory; We live in a world of modern technology. The world itself has become one global village. The peoples of all nations are connected with English which has emerged as International Language. Students of this college should have mastery over English, and they must have good communication skills. K.E.S has an advanced language English Laboratory fully furnished fully furnished and well equipped. It fulfills all the norms prescribed by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, K.E.C itself takes extra care in developing communication skills in English by the students. K.E.C Language laboratory is equipped with globorena E-mentoring systems (GEMS) Rosetta store and pronunciation power, which aim to develop proficiency in English in the students in the following areas: Vocabulary Building Reading Practices Listening skills Group Discussion Telephonic Conversation Personality Development CAT, MAT, GRE and TOEFL Training.
